It was tough to control the line of those people coming in, however the volunteers and I hustled! There ended up being loads of cute ladies coming in (yes!) and decent-looking men. The mingling space was becoming packed quickly. After an hour and half of hustling, we were able to fit greater than 200 people in the mingling area! As usual, men had been trying their keys on the locks the girls were sporting. If it didn’t work, each would move on. In the end, I met some cute guys myself. One treated me to a drink and some delicious sliders. I had a nice and fun conversation with the other man until most of the people from the mixer departed. I departed the lounge glad close to midnight. Although my friend departed, I still hung out by myself aided by the new guys I met. No need to head over to Starbucks next door for a pick-me-up.
